Serving With Eyes Wide Open
by: David Livermore
Serving With Eyes Wide Open had been recommended to me just before I went on a mission trip to Ecuador in 2011. This book was, and remains an excellent, informative guide on how cross-cultural missions should be viewed, and handled. I firmly believe everyone can benefit from this book, whether or not they plan to travel abroad to share the gospel, or minister in their own neighborhood. The truth is, each family, each neighborhood, each community, these all have their own cultural dynamics which vary one from another. You don’t have to travel to find a culture different from your own.
